Morpheus8 Cool is RF microneedling with a cooling plate that chills the skin during every pulse, so it tightens skin and rebuilds collagen in a treatment built for comfort. It suits adults with loose skin, fine lines, acne scarring or uneven texture on the face, neck or body. It is not a substitute for surgery when there is a lot of excess skin.
Fine pins carry radiofrequency energy beneath the surface, where the heat remodels collagen and firms tissue. The same 12, 24 and 40 pin tips as Morpheus8 2.0 let your provider treat small areas around the eyes or broad areas like the jawline and abdomen in one visit.

Does Morpheus8 Cool hurt?
Morpheus8 Cool is built for zero pain: the Cooling Tip chills your skin during every pulse rather than after it. Everyone feels treatment differently, so your provider adjusts settings as you go. Tell them how you feel throughout.
How is Cool different from Morpheus8 1.0 and 2.0?
All three are Morpheus8 RF microneedling. Cool uses the same 12, 24 and 40 pin tips as 2.0 and adds a surface cooling plate. Your provider recommends the right option for your skin at the consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients need one to three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. Mild laxity sometimes needs one; deeper scarring or advanced aging usually needs the full series. Your number is set at the consultation.
What is the downtime?
Expect redness, mild swelling and pinpoint marks for two to five days. Most people are back to normal activity within 24 to 48 hours and can wear makeup after the first day. Avoid direct sun, saunas and strenuous exercise for 72 hours.
When will I see results?
Texture and tone usually improve within one to two weeks. The larger change builds over three to six months as collagen rebuilds, and results can last one to three years.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Dr Refresh treats a range of skin tones. Skin type alone does not decide candidacy or remove risk, so bring your skin history and pigmentation concerns to your consultation.

Who should not have it, and how do I prepare?
Tell your provider if you are pregnant or nursing, have an active skin infection or open wound in the area, a pacemaker or other implanted device, a history of keloid scarring, or take a medication that makes skin sun-sensitive. You will get written preparation steps after your consultation.
